How the idea came to mind?

The whole idea came to us when we visited the archaeological museum of Athens and the acropolis museum.

Because we share a great appreciation and love for arts, the museums and the history of our country, we noticed from several of our trips around the world, how important it is to get a souvenir for your loved ones. A souvenir that is both beautiful and useful, a souvenir that keeps all of the beauty and mystery of the place you have visited.

Of course that becomes even more important when it is for your daughter or son, your niece and nephew or even grandchild and godchild.

Unfortunately souvenirs like these do not exist in Greece, a country that 24 million tourists visited in 2014 only( numbers taken from the Greek Touristic ministry).  The few souvenirs for kids that do exist are badly designed, in bad quality and some are manufactured 30 years ago.

So this is how the whole idea came into our minds. We decided it was time for games that made a difference. To the world and the children in it.We felt the need to create a series of board games and items that have very good design, vivid colors and sketches, having their stories taken from our amazing mythology and ancient Greek history.

Through our games and items in general the kid (and not only kid) while playing can get to know our ancient Greek Gods, our Greek heroes and their amazing stories, to enrich his or her knowledge and find out a little bit more about this fantastic country.

In few words short, we want to create a gift that all will really love and appreciate, and that we will be so proud producing it.

How do I get a replacement part for my board game?

We don’t have replacement parts for all of our board games, but let us know what you’re missing and we’ll do what we can to help. Call us at +302310636465. We’re around Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. You can also send us an email at inquiries@mygreekgames.com so we can help you faster, please include your phone number and address and write MISSING PART in the subject line with the name of the board game.

What materials do you use to make your products?

Our materials vary depending on the type of toy and the age for which it is designed. We use wood, plastics, cloth, ribbon and many other materials. Nothing we use contains any lead or phthalates. In addition to carefully choosing materials for our toys, we are passionate about the materials used to make our packaging. Read more about our eco-friendly packaging.

I think I’ve seen board games very similar to your designs under another brand name. Are your designs copyrighted?

Yes!! All of our designs are copyrighted and are protected under Greek and European laws so if You do see similar designs under another brand name, please feel free contacting us atinfo@mygreekgames.com . Be sure to include where you have seen them and if you can tell us the company’s name that had the same designs as us!

Can you send me a catalog?

To avoid wasting paper and the resources involved in transporting catalogs, we’ve created this website where you can find all of our products available to date. If you have any questions about them, please send an email to inquiries@mygreekgames.com. Be sure to include your phone number in case we need to contact you by phone.

Are your products 100% made in Greece as you say??

Yes!! Although producing it abroad the production costs would have been much lower, we strongly believe that a product about Greece and its history should be made here, in our homeland, providing job opportunities to people that really need it and at the same time keeping a closer look to quality of each single item!! We also conduct random audits of factories to ensure the highest standards are met in manufacturing and in employee health, safety and human rights.

Are your packages and cards recyclable?

YES! We do our best in choosing the most recycled and recyclable materials we can. Reduce. Reuse. Recycle. It’s a way of thinking and living here.All of our boxes and cards can be recycled again and again.

We try our best making as little impact as possible on our planet. But we are lucky enough to have such a great team that has created such a great packaging and design to every single item that it does not only does good, but also looks good!

But why recycling such a lovely board game? When you and your love ones is finished playing with them, just pass it around to a friend. Someone else could use it and the knowledge and fun can be spread around!!

SAFETY

Are MGG safe? I’m giving them to a child, you know!

We feel exactly the same way. Children are our greatest treasure and they need to be protected at every turn. Rest assured that all our toys go through stringent testing procedures that meet or exceed all U.S., Canadian and the even more stringent European safety standards, all regulations regarding age guidelines, all Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) directives and guidelines, and all regulations of the American Society for Testing and Materials. We then retest products with our own engineers, both on-site during the manufacturing process and again before they are shipped from the factory. Tests, tests and more tests. Trust us. Getting into one of our boxes is like getting into Harvard.

Are your toys BPA-free?

YES.

Little kids will stick anything and everything in their mouths, so we take safety very seriously. We are proud to say that all of our board games are now 100% BPA-free.

The store where you purchased the toy should be able to help you with an exchange or return. If not, call us at +30 2310 636465.
